Dear Valued Customers and Partners,
We would like to bring to your attention that during the past two weeks, booking pressure on both Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd has increased significantly due to their current Salalah routing arrangements.
This week, a substantial number of containers have been rolled over by both carriers. While both Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd have advised that they will continue accepting bookings, we recommend exercising caution when planning shipments with these carriers over the next 2–3 weeks, as schedule reliability may remain impacted.
In addition, recent developments concerning the Iran–USA situation may lead to further disruptions in the region, which could place additional pressure on Salalah and related transshipment operations. As a precaution, we recommend reviewing Colombo and other alternative routing options for shipments planned over the coming days.
Please note that the situation remains highly dynamic and is evolving rapidly. While our current recommendation is based on the latest available information, conditions may improve or change quickly in the days ahead.
This advisory applies to both import and export cargo movements to and from Pakistan.
We will continue to monitor developments closely and keep you informed of any significant changes.
Regards,
Zahid Javed
